ONWARD ENGINEERING was established with the primary purpose of providing engineering services to public agencies including municipal, state and federal government clients. Our staff has decades of experience which lends them an extensive working knowledge of Capital Improvement Projects. Onward Engineering operates through its offices, atop the 8^th floor at the corner of Harbor and Broadway in the City of Anaheim. Our firm is managed by former Public Works Managers and City Engineers.  The Onward Engineering team has spent their professional life working for public agencies and have had decades of experience providing a variety of services on public works projects.

Corporate History

In 2004, Majdi Ataya, PE, founded Onward Engineering with the goal of developing a staff around him that could deliver on his promise of providing first-rate services to public and private agencies. With over 30 years of proven experience, the former Director of Public Works for the City of La Habra & Contract City Engineer for La Habra Heights began building Onward Engineering’s repertoire as a leader in innovation, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. By working round-the-clock, each of our projects was completed on-time, within budget, and at the highest quality possible. Today, Onward Engineering maintains that same bravado and quality that garnered it early success. The experience of a large firm with the dedication and personalization of a smaller firm is what separates Onward Engineering from so many. Over the years, our office size has doubled. Our firm experience covers cities in both Orange and Los Angeles Counties, and we do not plan to slow down.
