Senior Inspector

Mike has over 34 years of experience in the construction management industry. This experience taught him to value safety, quality, and time, on the job-site. Mike has always had very good working relationships with contractors and the public agencies he worked with. As the ex-Construction Inspector for the City of Costa Mesa, Mike's familiarity allows for the efficient and successful completion of any project. 

Mike's duties at Onward Engineering include maintaining Daily Construction reports of men and equipment on site each day and hours worked; measure, calculate and record all quantities of items removed from or incorporated into the work, as well as taking photos documenting the work and performing daily inspection for compliance with plans and specs for each project. Duties would also include inspection of traffic control and securing the safety of the public as well as workers on site. Provide advice on inspection, progress payment and construction methods and practices necessary to expedite completion of the project according to terms of conditions, plans and specification for the project.  With years of experience comes the ability to deal with problems and chances in the field, most of the time before they occur.  Dealing with the public has always been one of his strongest points by keeping an open mind and an even temper.
